After the dinner

The night was cold, and it was late. Finding a cab was going to take patience and we had none of that. We had both walked out, hands interlocked, to the chilly breeze. Within seconds of waiting, I was freezing. "I'm freezing," I declared wrapping my arms around me. He turned to look at me before he held me in his arms. "Let's enter a bike, it's easier to get." I nodded. When the bike stopped, I climbed first, then he entered behind me. "Come over here," he nicely ordered as he made me relax into his warm embrace. "What do you want to do tonight?" He asked casually. I bit my tongue. "I want to be happy." "And happy you would be." I smiled a little, then rested my head on his chin. Soon we were at his place, we climbed down and I walked in ahead of him while he paid. I knew where his key was, it was always under the carpet. I bent to pick it up then let my self in. At the dinner

This night, I was his date to his departmental dinner. Harry was dressed in a black tux, no tie, no suit, just ironed black pants and his polished black shoe. Since his place was closer to the venue, I met him there. Bridgette gave me the advice, the one that was getting harder to heed to everyday. The one where she told me to lock it up because he wasn't my boyfriend anymore. I had laughed at her tone, but as I stood in front of him that night, I prayed for forgiveness because I knew I was going to sin. His pupils looked darker, it was the same way they had looked last two months when we were still a couple and he'd kiss me in bed.
